Pubs And Restaurants

Aberdaron village has two well-established pubs (see below) with restaurant and bar-food options. Both serve real ale, and high quality produce, including fresh seafood and meat sourced from local farms.

Ty Newydd (www.gwesty-tynewydd.co.uk) Run by Iain and Wilma, it sits on Aberdaron seashore, with a spectacular new terrace suspended over the beach – the view is free!

Ship Hotel (Aberdaron) (www.theshiphotelaberdaron.co.uk)

Run by Alun, with a long, lively, bar, good restaurant and outdoor tables to sit and enjoy the sunshine, and watch village life go by.

The Sun Inn (Llanengan) – this popular pub, popular with locals and visitors alike, is well worth popping into for the warm ‘old world’ bar and decor, with real ale and good food.

If you favour fine dining, try the Twnti Seafood Restaurant, or Porth Tocyn Hotel, both near to Abersoch, and for something really special book a table at the award-winning Plas Bodegroes, near to Pwllheli.
